Before I could even read or write, the first thing I did in the morning was race outside to grab the newspaper off my doorstep, crack it open to the sports section and flip on ESPN. Years later, not much has changed. I have grown into a versatile multimedia journalist with a specialization in sports. Since arriving to Rutgers University-New Brunswick in 2013, my all-around experience in all facets of producing content has been imperative to my growth as a journalist. From the hundreds of articles to the all-nighters at the editorial office at The Daily Targum, my three years there embodied — and reassured — my passion for sports journalism. With room for improvement a constant, I seek as much experience as possible. I have experience on camera and the radio/podcasts, producing television/radio broadcasts and directly writing and reporting published news. I made it an emphasis to continue my overall strides, getting my feet wet in television as a newsroom intern for SportsNet New York (SNY). I was a play-by-play broadcaster, sideline reporter and producer for Rutgers Student Radio at 88.7 WRSU-FM. Most recently, I spent my second year on the Rutgers football, men's basketball and recruiting beats as a staff writer for ScarletReport.com of Scout.com. Regardless of the position and the organization, I continue to keep reaching higher — passionately producing rich content in any way, shape or form I can.
